HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will present a weekend of dinner theatre with three performances of the comedy “You’ve Got Hate Mail” by Billy VanZandt and Jane Milmore at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main St. in Hurleyville. Performances will be Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m., with the option of a dinner theatre package with Nardi’s Family Restaurant (Frankie and Johnnie’s), also in Hurleyville.
Richard (Albee Bockman of Hurleyville) is married to Stephanie (Lori Schneider-Wendt of Hurleyville) but is fooling around with Wanda (Ellen Pavloff of Kerhonksen). When e-mails cross, all #&%$# breaks loose. Under the direction of Bunny Woloszczak of Hurleyville, with technical direction by Jim Schmidt of Hurleyville, the actors are armed with laptop computers and blackberries for a series of e-mails that lead the audience through a cross-fire of comedy.
Due to mature content and language, audience members should be 17 years of age and older. Dinner and the show cost $30 per person. Plan on arriving at Nardi’s Frankie and Johnnie’s (205 Main Street in Hurleyville) two hours prior to curtain. For the show alone, tickets cost $15. Desserts and coffee will be served at the museum after the performance.
