UPPER DELAWARE REGION — Celebrate the new partnership between the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and the Eagle Institute at the fifth annual Foods of the Delaware Highlands Gala on April 28, to benefit the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. The event, held at Hawley’s Settlers Inn, features a four-course farm-to-table dinner and wine tasting followed by a live auction. There will also be a silent auction celebrating the bounty of our local businesses and products.
Gourmet cuisine will be prepared by Settlers Inn chef and conservancy board member Grant Genzlinger and his staff using locally grown ingredients. Menu highlights include Forks Farm chicken and braised Tonjes Farm veal breast. Vegetarian options are also available.
The live and silent auctions offer selections including a week at a Bali villa, a day of sporting clays and an eagle-watching getaway with accommodations at Ecce Bed and Breakfast. Visit www.Dela wareHighlands.org to view the full slate of auction items.
Gala tickets are $125 per person, which includes a $75 charitable gift to the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, a local land trust serving Pike and Wayne counties in Pennsylvania, and Sullivan and Delaware counties in New York.
