HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Historical Society’s major fundraiser for 2011, Food, Fun and Fiddlin’ Around, will be held at 6 p.m. on July 9 in the Parish Hall of Grace Episcopal Church.
Steve Jacobi and Fiddlin’ Around will provide the music for listening and dancing and chef Alan Kehoe has announced a menu of simple summer fare to fuel the dancing. So far, Kehoe is promising Texas smoked beef brisket, barbeque sauce, balsamic roast chicken, baked beans, macaroni and cheese and Caesar salad, topped off with brownies and vanilla ice cream.
Wine, beer and soda are included. Dress is casual, and there will also be a silent auction. The price for the evening is $50, with tables of eight available for $350.
