NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance will award $500 to a video artist at the Quick & Gritty Video Slam, a competition of three-minute videos, on Saturday, June 18 at 7 p.m. at Tusten Theatre. All pieces must be one to three minutes in length, must have been created entirely between June 3 and 18. They must have been shot in Sullivan County or the Upper Delaware valley, and must be submitted on a playable DVD to the Tusten Theatre by 12 noon on Saturday, June 18. There is no submission fee. Works will be judged live on-site.
The DIGit Media Exposition, June 3 to 25 will include continuous screenings, site specific performances, interactive concerts, and audio and video installations in and around Narrowsburg’s Main Street and the Delaware River. DIGIT is funded in part by a grant from the Electronic Media Program of the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State’s 62 counties.
