The following cases were addressed by the Raymond L. Hamill, President Judge, Wayne County:

MARIA ANN MILLER, age 52 of Beach Lake, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI-Highest Rate, an ungraded Misdemeanor. She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000.00, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 50 hours of community service within 3 months. The incident occurred on September 17, 2016, in Berlin Township, PA. His BAC was .240%.

KAMIE HANSON, age 26 of South Sterling, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 48 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle/Property, a Misdemeanor of the 3rd Degree. She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment, and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on April 1, 2016, in Palmyra Township, PA. Her BAC was .112%

DANIEL FIGURA, age18 ofHonesdale, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 40 hours of community service and have his operator’s privilege suspended for a period of 90days. The incident occurred on January 12, 2017 in Cherry Ridge Township, PA. Her BAC revealed a .169%.
