CHERRY RUIDGE TWP, PA — According to Pennsylvania State Police, a 38-year-old Honesdale woman was hit with multiple charges after abandoning her car in the wake of an accident. Police say Adrienne Duallo was driving along the Lake Ariel Highway late in the evening on April 21, when her 2003 Toyota drifted off to the right, struck a guardrail, and bounced across the road to the other side of the highway striking a concrete bridge rail.

Police arrived at the scene and found no one in or near the vehicle, and there was no one at her apartment. She was contacted the next day while getting ready to go to the hospital for severe pain in her ribs, and a visible bruise on her forehead.  She told police that a friend drove her home, and she was not aware she was required to report the accident to police.

She was charged with abandoning a vehicle, careless driving and evading a duty to provide information.
