PECKVILLE, PA — Hosted by the Lackawanna Heritage Valley National and State Heritage Area (LHV) and Heritage Valley Partners, Inc., the fifth annual Heritage Explorer Bike Tour and Festival will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex.
The tour offers four out-and-back routes that extend from Blakely Borough Recreation Complex north on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail and in neighborhood streets through 17 municipalities. Keystone College will provide a complimentary lunch to all riders. In conjunction with the bike tour, a festival will be held at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
featuring music, demonstrations, vendors and exhibits, and raffle baskets. A kids’ area will offer family-friendly entertainment, including two free activities for children age 10 and under: the Blakely Lokie Bike Rally and the Heritage Explorer Festival Youth Run.
