Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum ‘Art of the Angler’ show

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — On Saturday and Sunday, November 9 and 10, hundreds of fly tyers will visit the Arts of the Angler Show at the Ethan Allen Inn in Danbury, CT to attend seminars, discussions, clinics and programs on fly fishing and fly tying. Visitors will experience one of the most complete and diverse fly shows.

Over 35 fly tyers, a dozen of the top American bamboo rod makers, vendors with more than 40 tables of collectible books, tackle, ephemera and materials will be there.

Live auctions will be held Saturday night and Sunday morning and a special dinner after the show on Saturday night. All attendees will receive a copy of “French Fishing Flies” and a chance to win an Orvis Fly Rod. All proceeds will benefit the Catskill Fly Fishing Center.

Programs and seminars will be led by Peggy Brenner, Sara Low, Kathy Scott, John Shaner, David Brandt, Don Bastian, Safet Nikocevic and others.
