HONESDALE, PA — Penn State Master Gardeners in Wayne County will host a four-week series on vegetable gardening presented by Judy Trudgen, Master Gardener, at the Penn State Extension Office, 684 Park St. The dates of the course are February 5, 12, 19 and 26 all from 6 to 8 p.m.
The four courses will be “Seed catalogs and good varieties for Wayne County,” “Principles of organic gardening,” “How to grow specific veggies and seed-saving” and “The four-season garden.” The cost for all four weeks is $20, or $7 per class. Ages 18 and under are admitted free. Snacks are provided and there will be door prizes.
