GREENTOWN, PA — Promised Land State Park seeks a variety of volunteers for the upcoming season. Among them are “Garden Warriors,” needed to help planting, weeding and tending the native plants garden behind the museum; bald eagle monitors, to monitor the nesting pair at the park with a spotting scoe and binoculars and compile records to be submitted to the PA Game Commission and the National Fish & Wildlife Service; office help, to assist with filing, organizing, distribution list and database management, inventory and more (must be computer savvy); nature arts and crafts assistants; recycling volunteers, Adopt-a-Trail volunteers; and more.
