SULLIVAN COUNTY — The Fourth Annual SullivanArc Garden Tour will feature an exclusive look at private gardens in and around the hamlet of Roscoe on Saturday, June 23. Tickets are now on sale.

The guided bus tour will leave from the Tennanah Lake Golf and Tennis Club, where the tour ends with a complimentary wine and cheese reception. It is hosted by SullivanArc, Sullivan Renaissance and Roscoe-Rockland Chamber of Commerce to benefit the SullivanArc Horticultural Program.

Last year, Roscoe became known across the United States when it was voted “Ultimate Fishing Town USA.” Yet Roscoe has long been cited by Sullivan Renaissance for its public display of flowers, including recognition for the “Bold and Dramatic Single Element” exhibited by its flowers in 2011, receiving the “Golden Feather Grant” in 2010 and being honored for the “Best Overall Showing of Flowers” in 2009.

Approximately eight gardens will be open for visits between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Cost is $35 per person, which includes travel on a Rolling V coach bus, guide, door prizes and snacks. Self-guided tour tickets and maps will also be available for those who want to drive their own vehicles for $25 per person. A reception for all ticket holders and garden owners follows the tour.

Advance tickets can be purchased by visiting www.sullivanarc.org and clicking on “Buy Tickets.” A limited number of tickets will become available at garden centers and nurseries in Sullivan County at a later date.
