MILFORD, PA — Applications are currently being accepted for a number of summer internships at Grey Towers National Historic Site, former home of Gifford Pinchot, the first chief of the U.S. Forest Service and  two-time Pennsylvania governor.

College students interested in parks and recreation, history, gardening, landscape architecture and forestry are encouraged to apply. Stipends range from $85 per week subsistence allowance to $2,500 for the 12-week season. Housing on the historic estate and uniforms may be provided.

Multiple 12-week internships are available for students interested in honing their communication skills through delivering interpretive mansion tours, facilitating public education programs and providing visitor services.
