Patricia Prendergast of Beach Lake, PA passed away on November 23, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA.

Pat was born in Brooklyn on September 13, 1936, the daughter of the late James and Moira Prendergast. She pursued a career in banking, retiring as a VP at Citi Bank in NYC.

She is survived by her two sisters, Eileen Falk and her husband Dennis, Doreen Kraus and her husband Ed, and her brother Tom Prendergast and his wife Rose, all of Narrowsburg, NY; her stepsons George McBride and his wife Patty and their children Michael, Nicole, Tommy and Sean, Kevin McBride and his wife Eileen and their children Kevin Jr., Tara and Shannon, all from Long Island; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Moira Hankins and her two brothers James Prendergast and Denis Prendergast.

As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation and her cremated remains will be interred at a later date in Tusten Settlement Cemetery. A celebration of life mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tusten Settlement Association or St. Francis Xavier RC Church of Narrowsburg.
