Lillian A. Burckard, 99 years young, of Pond Eddy, NY, a longtime resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2014 with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Downey Brousseau, she was born December 29, 1914 in New York City, NY.
Lillian was a retired real estate agent from Burckard Realty, Pond Eddy. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Yulan, NY.
Lillian was a local artist. She had won several blue ribbons and other awards for her art.
Survivors include her son, Paul Burckard and his wife Terry of Eldred, NY; her three grandchildren, Paul Burckard of Detroit, MI, Kim Burckard and her companion Tom McBride of Watervliet, NY, Nicole Stewart and her husband Damon of Albany, NY; her four great-grandchildren, Courtney, Alyssa, Coby and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
Lillian is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, John C. Burckard, who had passed away February of 1980 and her five sisters, Marion, Grace, Ruth, Muriel and Ann.
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
