Frances (Worzel-Litts) Braun of Springfield, MO, formerly of Barryville, NY, passed away on January 26, 2013. She was 73. She was born on August 29, 1939.
Frances was an avid scuba diver and had a great love for the ocean. She was well known for helping others with health problems. Frances is survived by her daughter Teri Earl and her husband Robert of Apex, NC; her son, Ernest Litts and his wife Carrie of Star, NC; five grandchildren, Michelle Ristuccia, Rayna Earl, Victoria Earl, Nathan Litts and Marina Litts; two great-grandchildren Corwin and Perrin Ristuccia. Also surviving are three sisters, Shirley Collins of Olean, NY, Beatrice Schields and Marilyn Dellert of Shohola, PA; one brother, William Worzel of Barryville, NY; several nieces and nephews with one special niece Melanie Astarita of Buffalo, MO who was by her side in her final days.
She is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Emma Worzel of Barryville NY; her first husband Fred Litts of Matamoras, PA; her second husband Bruce Braun of Oceanside, CA.
Frances will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.
