Mildred Wlodarski died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Chardon Place on John’s Island, SC following an extended illness. She was 84.

She was born on February 12, 1927 in Moscow, PA, the youngest of 10 children, to the late Michael and Kathryn Repella Hrywnak.

Her marriage was on October 22, 1949 to Edward Wlodarski, who preceded her in death in 1997.

A former Bethel, NY resident for over 50 years, she was a past member of the White Lake School PTA, Cooperative Home Extension and the Community United Methodist Church of Kauneonga Lake, NY. She was a volunteer and active member of the Town of Bethel Senior Citizens and was honored as Town of Bethel Senior of the Year in 2002. She enjoyed gardening, homemaking, spending time with friends and neighbors and caring for those in need.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Wlodarski of Seabrook Island, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 16 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, Kauneonga Lake, with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Interment followed in Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery.
