Leslie Zacharia Clearwater (Zac, Fez) of Damascus, PA died on August 9, 2011. He was 53.

He was born to Evelyn and Bernard Solomon in Manhattan on April 7, 1958.

Zac graduated from Westbury High School and received a BPS from the Culinary Institute of America. He also went on to become a Certified Hypnotherapist.

Zac was a man of many professional talents, particularly as a highly skilled Executive Chef who was sought up and down the eastern seaboard for his abilities. He was an avid lover of music, food, psychology and spirituality, but his greatest fondness was for his family. An accomplished drummer, Zac’s beat was uniquely his own. He had a sharp intellect, a quick wit, and a deep thirst for exploring life.

Zac is survived by his wife of 32 years, Josephine of Damascus, PA; his four children, Leslie of Phoenixville, PA, Liberty and Jonin of St. Petersburg, FL and Lexes, of Damascus; and his grandson, Gabriel.

A private service will be held in Damascus.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leslie Z. Clearwater memorial fund at The Dime Bank, 1679 Cochecton Tpk, Damascus, PA 18415.
