Unadeane “Honey” Haupt of Lackawaxen, PA, a retired bank teller of HNB and retired co owner of Haupt Brothers Banner Market in Lackawaxen, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. She was 86.

The daughter of the late Henry and Edna Schenk Miller, she was born July 9, 1925 in Honesdale. She was married for 63 years to Raymond “Bud” Haupt who survives.

Honey was a member of the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Lackawaxen. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Ladies Auxiliary, Lackawaxen Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the Lackawaxen Ambulance Corps.

A family statement reads: “Honey was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a big part of our family and that void will never be filled. We will miss her forever.”

She is also survived by daughter Gail McNamara and husband James of Camillus, NY; granddaughters Maureen McNamara of Lakeland, NY and Kimberly Durley and husband Timothy of Camillus, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers, John Miller, Willard Arnold and Gerald Arnold and sister, Anna Frazee.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 14 at the Harrison-Rasmussen Funeral Home, Barryville, NY with the Rev. Mary Owens officiating.

Burial took place at Lackawaxen Cemetery, Lackawaxen.
