Edward N. Miller of Moscow, PA died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. He was 71.

He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Geri Melber, in 1998.

Edward N. Miller of Moscow, PA died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. He was 71.

He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Geri Melber, in 1998.

Born March 3, 1940 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald and Mildred Freeman Miller.

Edward worked at S. J. Bailey and Sons and later at Moore Business Forms. He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot where he worked in maintenance. He was a member of LaAnna United Methodist Church. Many will remember Ed for sketching pictures on the back of place mats. He also enjoyed landscaping, stone work, and would lend a helping hand to whoever needed it.

Surviving are sons Edward C. Miller of Dunmore, PA, Shawn A. Miller and wife Jenni of Granite Falls, WA, Robert D. Miller and wife Linda of Syracuse, NY, Thomas D. Miller and wife Melinda of Beach Lake, PA; daughters Laurel Gardner of Honesdale and Heather Mirch of Scranton; brother James Miller of North Carolina; sister Delores Christ and husband Samuel of Hollisterville, PA; 16 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

He is also preceded in death by infant daughter Autumn Rose Miller; sister Geraldine Hafler; and grandson Jason Olver.

Cremation was held at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 28 at 12:30 p.m. at LaAnna United Methodist Church, 152 Rt. 191, South Sterling, PA 18460.
