Blanche A. Masters, a lifetime Monticello, NY resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. She was 80.

The daughter of the late William and Sabina Lopez Chavez Drennon, she was born November 12, 1930, in Monticello.

Blanche was the owner of Blanche’s Diner in Mongaup Valley, NY. She was a member of the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church and the White Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens.

She is survived by five sons, Thomas LeConey and wife Cheryl of Clayton, NY, Joseph “Bud” LeConey and wife Rev. Bridgette LeConey of Liberty, NY, James Masters and wife Jill of Prairieville, LA, William Masters and companion Donna of Monticello and John LeConey and wife Mickey of Monticello; sister Marie Raucci and husband Ralph of Monticello; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A son, Michael LeConey, predeceased her.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 19 at the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Rev. Bridgette LeConey officiated.
