‘WIGSTICKS—Fairy Tales’

MILFORD, PA — The Upper Delaware GLBT Center (UDGLBT) will present “WIGSTICKS—Fairy Tales,” a drag show feature at the Milford Theatre (114 E. Catherine Street) on Saturday, May 19, featuring the illustrious Steady Mess and her troupe of performers.

There will be two performances. The first, at 3 p.m., is a drag comedy show for teens (ages 14-plus), parents, teachers and anyone who works with youth. Following this show there will be a Q&A session with professionals who work with GLBTQ youth as well as the performers. Proceeds from this performance will benefit Safe Haven’s Rallying Youth Organizers Together (RYOT ) program and the UDGLBT’s People Promoting Pride (P3) youth group.

The second show, at 9 p.m., is an adult oriented (18-plus) show followed by a dance party at the Tom Quick Inn. Proceeds will benefit the UDGLBT.

Advance tickets for the afternoon show cost $10 and can be purchased online at www.wigsticks.org or udglbtcenter.blogspot.com, or at the ticket window at the theatre up to 60 minutes prior to the performance. Advance tickets for the evening performance cost $20 and can be purchased online at the above addresses, at The Forklift Café in Dingmans Ferry, Upriver Home in Milford and at the Upfront Exhibition Space in Port Jervis, NY. Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the show will cost $25.
