Livingston Manor man arrested for Criminal sale of a firearm

On April 3, 2012, State Police at Liberty, with the assistance of the Town of Fallsburg and Village of Liberty Police Departments, arrested David Rivera, age 31 of Livingston Manor after an investigation into the sale of a loaded handgun in the Village of Liberty.
Rivera was charged with Criminal Sale of a Firearm 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, felonies. He was arraigned in the Town of Rockland Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with no bail set. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Liberty Court on April 5, 2012.
