County music festival

MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan County All County Festival, hosted by the Sullivan County Music Educators Association (SCMEA), will be held on Saturday, March 3 at Monticello High School. There will be two concerts: one at 2:30 p.m., and one at 5 p.m.

Through participation and performance, the festival offers students the opportunity not only to perform within an outstanding ensemble, but also to meet and develop friendships with fellow musicians in Sullivan County. Ensembles are string orchestra, junior high jazz ensemble, elementary chorus, women’s chorus, middle school band, junior high mixed chorus and senior high band.

Each ensemble is directed by a prominent musician in his or her field of expertise, and chaired by a member of SCMEA. Tickets cost $6.
