Hurleyville man arrested for giving false name

State Police in Wurtsboro arrested a man for using a false name during a traffic stop on ST 17 in the Town of Mamakating on August 7. Miguel Villanueva, a 25 year old resident of Hurleyville, was stopped for speeding on ST 17.
When asked for his driver's license, the subject was unable to produce a license and gave troopers a false name. Further investigation by troopers revealed the subject's true identity. Villanueva was arrested for False Personation and also for a suspended driver's license. He is to appear in the Town of Mamakating Court after posting station bail.
