HONESDALE, PA — John Carmody, president of B&B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, said the new building on Route 6 was built because that facilitated the process of expanding the business by adding Chrysler and Jeep vehicles to its previous lineup.

The new showroom was unveiled on July 25 and the ribbon-cutting ceremony drew a large crowd that included elected officials.

The turnout included PA Sen. Lisa Baker, Rep. Sandra Major, Wayne County commissioners Jonathan Fritz and Chairman Brian Smith. Honesdale mayor Jack Bishop was also on hand.

B&B Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has been family owned and operated in Honesdale since 1970. It has been providing sales and service to Wayne, Pike and Lackawanna counties in Pennsylvania and Sullivan County, NY for over 40 years.

Before B&B added Chrysler and Jeep to its offerings, those brands were underserved in the region. Carmody said the company is pleased with the reaction to the change in the business.
