May 7, 2014 —
ALBANY, NY — Sen. John Bonacic announced on May 5 that the Town of Lumberland has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program.
The funding will go toward repairing deteriorating sidewalks and fence railings around the Thomas F. Hill Municipal Building, creating a safer path for residents and workers.
“The Town of Lumberland is most appreciative of this grant money, which will go toward the immediate safety needs of the Thomas F. Hill Municipal Building,” said Supervisor Nadia Rajsz. “Besides the deteriorating sidewalks, we will be replacing the fence railings, which are also in need of repair. Thank you, Senator Bonacic, for your continued support of our town and being such a great advocate for our area.”
“The safety of our residents is always a top priority,” said Sen. Bonacic, “and for this reason, I am pleased to be a part of securing this funding for the Town of Lumberland.”
