NARROWSBURG, NY — Marci Geller will play the RiverFolk Concert Series at Gloria Krause Recital Hall at Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main St., on Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. Geller recently participated in the “Fearless Songwriter” challenge.

The challenge was to write a song a day for seven consecutive days, do a rough draft recording and then post it publicly for the world to inspect. The participants are given a prompt to help expedite the creative process. Geller chronicled her experience with the challenge at marcigeller.com/fearless-songwriter.

In recent years, Geller has been touring as a piano -based solo artist in the folk circuit. After catching the ear of the band Buskin and Batteau, she was invited to sit in during their shows in order to introduce her and her music to their audience. David Buskin is quoted as saying Geller is “one of the finest singer/songwriters we’ve come across.” She was honored with an opening performance for them at the Guthrie Center in June 2013. Geller has performed on “Live with Regis,” “Good Day NY” and “Fox Morning Show,” and her music can be heard in soundtracks on MTV, USA Network and others.

Suggested donation is $15/reserved, $18/door. Call 845/252-6783 to reserve. For more information visit www.riverfolkconcerts.vpweb.com or www.marcigeller.com.
