HONESDALE, PA — The Ragtag Rutabagas and The Cooperage Project will hold a special, “Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall” contra dance at The Cooperage on Saturday, August 24 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Before the dancing begins, around 6:30 p.m. there will be time to socialize with friends and fellow dancers and the contra dance team and refreshments.

“Contra dancing is easy to do, great exercise and a heck of a lot more fun than sitting home watching TV,” said Laurie Brongo, the caller for the dances at The Cooperage. “The live music is exciting and upbeat. I guarantee you’ll be tapping your feet and itching to join in.”

This dance will feature music by The Ragtag Rutabagas with caller Laurie B. Come with or without a partner. Beginners are always welcome. Suggested donation is $10, kids under 15 admitted free.
