HONESDALE, PA — The Lakeside Players’ original comedy “Double Occupancy,” a madcap comedy about two sexy senior citizens, will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 3, 4 and 5, at Grace Episcopal Church Parish House Hall. Saturday and Sunday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m.

Written by Lakeside founders Tony Schwartz and Marylou Ambrose, the play premiered at Ehrhardt’s Waterfront in 2011, when it was performed for 18 senior bus groups over three days.

“Double Occupancy” tells the story of Helen Cooper and Stanley Cohen, both in their 70s, who wake up in a motel room together after a night of passion. They discover the motor coach carrying the rest of their senior tour group has left without them.

Besides Schwartz and Ambrose, the play features Jerry Marino, Kelly Ann Walsh and Roxan Schwartz. Tony Schwartz directed.

Tickets cost $12; $10 for groups of 10 or more. Buy them at the door or call and make a reservation at 570/226-6207. For more information, visit www.lakesideplayers.net.
