Antique vehicles sought for Honesdale festival

HONESDALE, PA — Bring your vehicle to Central Park in downtown Honesdale on May 20 to Court Street, as part of the Festival of the Arts weekend’s Antiques on Wheels Display.

If you have anything motorized that is 25 years or older and is in good running condition, it is eligible. There will be trophies given for Years of Service: Longest-Running Tractor, Smallest Four-Wheel Car, Oldest-Running Motorcycle and Work Truck with the Most Character. A Judges’ Choice trophy will also be awarded.

Pre-register your antique vehicle by calling Kelly at 570/253-6464 or Gail at 253-5492, or stop by R3 Hardware, 825 Main St., or A Picker’s Find, 1098 Texas Palmyra Hwy. to pick up a registration form. Deadline for preregistration is Wednesday, May 16.

The check-in for vehicles will begin at 1 p.m. in front of the Wayne County Courthouse on Court Street. All vehicles will be on display from 2 to 4 p.m.
