‘Transformation and the Grinch’

December 1, 2011

BEACH LAKE, PA — The Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will kick off its month-long exploration of transformation with a lively musical multi-generation service called “Transformation and the Grinch.” on Sunday, December 4 at 10:15 a.m. Using spoken word and small songs, accompanied by a lap harp, service leader Laurie Stuart will “read” How the Grinch Stole Christmas and create a service that celebrates the idea that Christmas, stripped of all of its trappings, has the ability to transform. Families are encouraged to bring a copy of the book, if they have it and would like to “read” along.

All are welcome to attend the one hour service, held at the Berlin Township Community Center. Refreshments and a social gathering will follow. Visit www.uduuf.org or call 845-252-6626.
