October 20, 2011

HONESDALE, PA — The movie actor Holter Graham is scheduled to make a guest appearance at the Wayne County Arts Alliance’s Saturday Morning for Kids on October 22 at Cinema 6, Route 6 Mall. The event will start at 9 a.m. with an hour of events for kids like face painting, balloon tying and drawing. At 10 a.m. there will be a showing of “Fly Away Home” (PG), a drama about a young Canadian girl who teaches a gaggle of pet geese to fly south for the winter. Graham played Barry Strickland, a friend of the girl’s father. He will be available to sign autographs and will give a presentation at the movie. Cinema 6 will offer a special $3 small-popcorn-and-drink deal for kids.

A donation of $3 per child and $7 per adult is suggested, to help support the activities of the arts alliance. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance at the arts alliance office, at the Silk Mill in Hawley, at Cinema 6, or online at waynecountyartsalliance.org. Call 570/390-4420.
