Plein air painters start new season

June 2, 2011

MILFORD, PA — Joan Polishook, artist and founder of Come Paint With Me©, will lead off the 14th season of her program at Grey Towers on June 2. Artists are invited to meet at 10 a.m. at the Visitors Pavilion, where they will be greeted by members of the Forest Service, the Grey Towers Heritage Association and Polishook, who will present a brief overview on the importance of journaling for a plein air artist. Refreshments will be served; the first 25 signed-in artists will receive a gift compliments of The Grey Towers Heritage Association, which is co-sponsoring Come Paint With Me© events at Grey Towers.

This is a free program for adult and serious young artists, and is an opportunity to get together to draw, paint and discuss art-related topics. The 2011 schedule will take artists to many different and picturesque sites throughout the tri-state area every Thursday through October 13. Visit www.joanpolishook-art.com.
