Liberty Free presents ‘Hughie’

LIBERTY, NY — The Liberty Free Theatre at 109 South Main St. will present Nobel Laureate Eugene O’Neill’s play, “Hughie,” the story of a lonely small-time gambler and his touching, revealing and often humorous attempts to hold on to his life-long delusion of a happy-go-lucky winner. The play features Michael Frizalone and James Heisel. It was directed by Chet Carlin. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., May 19 to 21 and 26 to 28, and one matinee on Sunday, May 29 at 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. The audience is invited to gather after the performance for food, drink, and music. Call 845/ 292-3788.
