Exploring the history, architecture and future of Catskill’s resorts

LIBERTY, NY — The 18th annual Sullivan County Architectural Tour and the 12th annual Catskills Preservation/History Conference will take place on Saturday, July 13 at the Liberty Museum & Arts Center. The tour will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the conference will immediately follow it from 12 noon to 8 p.m.

There will also be an exhibition titled “The Great Catskills Resorts, Photos and Artifacts from the Ross Padluck Resort Collection” which will run from Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, September 29. The reception for the exhibit will also be on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m. A book signing and talk for Padluck’s book “Catskills Resorts, the lost architecture of paradise” will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Cost is $20 for the conference registration, $25 for the architectural tour and tour reception; or $40 for both. Free for members. There is no charge for the book signing and exhibit reception starting at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.LibertyMuseum.com, or call 845/292-2394.
