Anti-bullying program offends some Christians
God created all people in His image therefore all people deserve respect no matter who they are, what they have done, what their sexual orientation is, what their skin color is or what their religion or lack of is. However as a warning to all parents and school boards: Please Google the names of any people coming into your school presenting an anti-bullying program. Several incidents have happened with gay activists turning anti-bullying presentations at elementary schools into a platform for the gay agenda, with the result being that Christians were publicly humiliated and the Holy Bible verbally bashed and same-sex students brought up on stage and encouraged to kiss each other. Please look up on the Internet anyone who is coming into your school and see what his or her hidden agenda may be.

[Editor’s note: An anti-bullying workshop held several months ago at a middle school in the Red Hook School District near Poughkeepsie, NY received national attention recently in reports on the Christian News Network, Fox News and other sources that singled out the portion of the workshop dealing with dignity for gay and lesbian students. The school district has since published what it calls inaccuracies in the media’s reports, has held a public informational meeting for parents and community members, and has discussed the matter in a public school board meeting. The board has characterized feedback from the community and students as “overwhelmingly positive.” The workshop’s larger focus was on relationships, communication and self-respect, as well as helping students understand cultural diversity, all covered under the New York State Dignity for All Students Act, which protects against harassment based on actual or perceived race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex.]
