‘Readings at The Coop: Writers in Conversation’ launches in Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — The first of a new series of happenings at The Cooperage, “Readings at the Coop: Writers in Conversation,” will take place on Saturday, May 11, with three authors reading some of their work. Mason Currey, who grew up in Honesdale, PA, will read from “Daily Rituals: How Artists Work;” Owen King from his novel “Double Feature;” and Domenica Ruta from her New York Times bestselling memoir “With or Without You.”

The monthly readings and conversations with writers is curated by Kelly McMasters and Mark Milroy, owners of Moody Road Studios at Maude Alley.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. preceded by a reception to meet the authors to be held 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the Maude Alley Garden, 1023 Main Street.
