NARROWSBURG, NY — Several appearances are scheduled of cast and directors of the films showing at the Fourth Annual Big Eddy Festival, which kicks off on September 18 at the Tusten Theatre.

Actor Richard Masur will appear at the opening night screening of his film “Tumbledown,” on Friday at 8 p.m. The movie is described in a Big Eddy press release as a “romantic drama about a young widow who is roused out of her grief by a brash New Yorker intent on writing a book about her late husband. Masur plays a supporting role as the woman’s protective father who seems to know the truth about the circumstances of her husband’s demise.” Masur will be available for questions following the film screening.

Masur has been a familiar face in film and television since the mid-1970s, best known for his roles in “My Girl” (1991), “Heartburn” (1986) and “The Thing” (1982), as well as in the television shows “All in the Family,” “One Day at a Time” and “The Practice.” In addition, he served two terms as president of the Screen Actors Guild and currently sits on the corporate board of the Motion Picture & Television Fund.

The co-directors of the documentary “Welcome to Kutsher’s,” husband and wife team Ian Rosenberg and Caroline Laskow, will lead a question-and-answer session following the Catskills premiere screening of their film on Sunday, September 20 at 11 a.m. They will discuss the creative process behind documenting the last surviving Jewish resort in the Catskills: Kutsher’s in Monticello. Audience members will also be encouraged to share their stories and remembrances of Kutsher’s.

Other attending filmmakers at the 2015 Big Eddy Film Festival include Paul Stone (“Man Under”), Roderick Angle (“J. Morgan Puett: A Practice of Be(e)ing”) and Max Chaiet (“The Big Green).

The festival will host a “Meet the Filmmakers” cocktail party on Saturday, September 19 at 5 p.m. at the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main St., with wine and cocktails, food and live music. Admission is free for All Access Passholders, and $30 for all others.

The Big Eddy Film Festival will show two dozen feature films, documentaries, shorts and videos for kids. All-Access Festival Passes cost $100, and guarantee a seat at all screenings, including opening night. Six-packs of tickets are available for $40 (which does not include opening night), or six-pack plus for $75, which includes six films, plus opening night and the Saturday evening cocktail party.
