RIVER VALLEY — A Christmas tree, set up midstream, and surrounding snowmobile tracks last week illustrated the Delaware River ice thickness above the Barryville-Shohola Bridge. The National Weather Service at Binghamton, NY on March 5 reported an above-normal chance of ice-jam related flooding during a sudden thaw.
