HAWLEY, PA — The fifth annual Wally Lake Fest takes place August 22 through 24. The festival gives people the opportunity to attend events both on the waters of Lake Wallenpaupack and on dry land.
With many events offered at different locations, festival-goers are now being offered an easy way to make it from one venue to the next without concerning themselves with searching for parking spots at each place.
To make it possible for people to get the most out of their experience, free shuttle buses will run on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival organizers say, “This is a convenient new service, which allows people to park their car once as the free shuttle bus brings them around to many of the event locations. The route includes stops at these prime locations along Route 6: the PPL Environmental Learning Center, the Wallenpaupack High School, the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center, Gresham’s Landing, the Hawley Silk Mill, the Lock 31 Canal Festival and various locations throughout downtown Hawley.”
