Hawley missing person sought

HAWLEY, PA — A 69-year-old man is being sought by officials and his family after going missing on February 23. Anthony Calvitti went missing from the Hawley Village Apartments. Family members located his car, but he was not with the vehicle. Blood was found inside the car along with Calvitti’s wallet and a key.

Pennsylvania State Police released a statement that said, “Evidence inside the vehicle indicates Calvitti is injured, but foul play is not suspected. Calvitti is not diagnosed with any physical or mental health issues.”

A search was conducted involving a state police helicopter, the Hawley Fire Department, Tafton and Forest Lake Dive Squads and North East Search and Rescue.
