In the Town of Bethel, restaurateur Judith Maidenbaum is challenging incumbent suprivisor Dam Sturm for the slot on the Democratic ticket; three candidates, Timothy Colaianni, incumbent Lillian Hendrickson and Dawn Rider are vying for the Democratic nod for two seats on the town council.

In the Town of Tusten, there are four candidates running for town justice in three separate primaries, and there are three candidates to become two Democratic nominations to the town council. The primary will also determine the makeup of the Democratic Committee, as four Democrats are running for two seats on the committee.
