The Cochecton Democratic Caucus was held on July 18 at the town hall. Hollye Schulman, the incumbent town clerk, was nominated to run again for the position. Eileen Hennessy, the incumbent tax collector, was nominated again; Steven Sauer and Craig Fine, both incumbent judges, were also re-nominated. Dr. Paul Salzberg and Joan Glase were nominated to run for seats on the town board.

Cochecton voters have an opportunity to meet the candidates at a meet-and-greet event on Friday, August 2, at Tony’s on the Lake in Lake Huntington, from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be appetizers, cake, coffee and tea for a suggested donation of $15. Call 845/932-8104.
