SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The public voted yes to the proposed budgets of the Eldred Central School District and the Sullivan West Central School District. In Eldred, the vote for the $16. 3 million budget was 344 yes votes and 121 no votes. The voters also approved a $14,000 levy for the Sunshine Hall Free Library by a margin of 352 to 121. Linda Bohs was unopposed and was elected to the school board.

At Sullivan West, the $34.4 million budget received 453 yes votes and 185 no votes. Kevin Murphy, Ken Cohen, Joan Clase and Rose Joyce-Turner were elected to the board and were unopposed.
