The focus of the February 14 commissioners meeting was the acceptance of resignation from three former employees and the taking on of new staff in Wayne County. The Prompton Borough Tax Collector, Shelia Collins, resigned from her post effective February 7.

Philip Perkert resigned from his part-time post at the Wayne Co. Correctional Facility effective March 4.

Barbara Hampton submitted a resignation for her post in Human Services, accepted February 11.

On the other side of the matter, Bobby Joe Bendersky was hired as a per-diem special county detective effective February 14.

An existing vacancy in the judicial department for clerk in adult probation will be filled by Erica Verola, effective March 4.
