The Narrowsburg Fire Department responded to the scene of what appeared to be a burst dam off of State Route 97 about a mile south of Narrowsburg on the afternoon of April 13.
Highway Superintendent Glenn Swendsen said the dam was located at the town pond, and the water was headed toward Cackletown, and perhaps then down to Little Lake Erie.
