Strides Across the Delaware, a 5K run/walk event set for September 28 to celebrate the Upper Delaware Council’s (UDC) 25th anniversary offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities with pledges requested by September 1.

Sponsors that contribute raffle prizes, needed services, or monetary donations will be entitled to provide promotional items for participant gift bags and will be acknowledged in pre- and post-event publicity outlets. Those donating $250 or more will also be listed on a commemorative t-shirt.

The run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, near the Equinunk United Methodist Church, PA State Road 1023. The course will cross the interstate bridge into Lordville, NY and loop down Bouchouxville Road in the Town of Hancock before crossing the finish line in Equinunk, PA.

Registration by September 15 costs $15. Participants will receive food and beverages provided by the Equinunk Watershed Alliance in addition to a T-shirt, gift bag, and the chance of winning commemorative drinking glass awards based on electronic timing.
