Adam Weinreich has been named interim station manager at WJFF, a public radio station in Jeffersonville, NY. Weinreich was appointed by the WJFF Board of Trustees after the resignation of Winston Clark, WJFF’s station manager since 2009.

“The Board would like to thank Adam for his willingness to step up to this challenge,” said board president Dawn Dorcas in an April 11th statement.

“I am keenly aware that the quirky, unique spirit of WJFF is something which must be strengthened and preserved,” Weinreich said as he addressed the board at its April 17th meeting “I take this very seriously and am honored to hold the ship’s wheel.”

Weinreich has been WJFF’s assistant manager since June 2009. Prior to that, he worked in both commercial and non-commercial radio in Keene, NH.

WJFF 90.5fm is listener-supported and volunteer-based, carrying locally-produced shows as well as programming from National Public Radio (NPR), Pacifica, American Public Media and several other national and independent producers. Most of the voices heard on the station are those of its nearly 100 volunteers from New York and Pennsylvania. WJFF operates from its main studio is in Jeffersonville, and its satellite studio in Honesdale, PA.
