Sullivan County roads update

Emergency Operations Center, Bethel, NY - Sullivan County David Fanslau issued the following statement: "The following County Roads remain closed: CR 31 in Glen Spey; CR 44 in Sackett Lake; CR 173 in Monticello and Bridgeville; CR 162 in Yankee Lake; CR 94 in Mileses/Hankins; and CR 95 in Obernburg. CR 56 is now closed due to wires down near the Mamakating Transfer Station.

The following County roads have been upgraded to passable, with at least one lane open: CR 128 from Jeffersonville to North Branch; CR 145 Dahlia Road in White Sulpher Springs; CR 109 in the Concord Area; CR 51 in Hurleyville; CR 161 in Thompsonville/Kiamesha Lake; CR 75 and CR 146. CR 111 in Cochecton Center/Narrowsburg is now completely open.

The traveling public should continue to use caution on roads that are minimally passable. If power is out at a traffic light, that intersection should be treated as a four-way stop. Roads that are closed should be avoided, and all baricades should be obeyed. Do not drive around baricades, nor drive down a closed road."
