SULLIVAN AND DELAWARE COUNTIES, NY – Catskill Mountainkeeper and Delaware Highlands Conservancy have formed the Sullivan Delaware Environmental Partnership. It will mutually support the member organizations’ environmental goals and missions and present a cooperative front of conservation groups that has a bigger and more productive impact with local, state and federal legislative representatives than either can present individually.

The partnership will meet quarterly, share a group email list to keep all members in the loop regarding partner organizations’ important news, events and actions, and link to each others’ websites to create a regionally connected network of environmental organizations. It will also organize and host an annual “Legislative Breakfast” that presents an agenda regarding environmental goals to local, state and federal representatives.
